How Does HUD Housing Work?
My fiance and I are looking to go soon and we’re on a tight budget. Our only option really is HUD housing. Now, I’ve been researching it and am making an appointment soon but I have a few questions I want to question now. The 30% of your bring home pay is what your rent will be based on. Is the bring home pay what you bring home in a week or a month? Is anyone here living in a HUD housing system? If so, can you tell me what its like? Any tips or pointers or anything that might make us not qualify for it? We’re rather young too, will this reduce our chances?
