HUD Statement different from actual sale price?

Written By: admin on June 24, 2009 No Comment

I am selling my home, but the seller questioned if I can help them by dividing the sale price number into 2 sections, the under inflated sale price and the furniture.

Is this a legal things to do?
I know this is going to bring down the neighborhood price, but their reason was to reduce the property tax.
I am losing money in this transaction. If I agree, will this bite me in the future as a form of lawsuit, tax, or whatever?

Thanks.
