   Manufactured Homes:
   cons
   -depreciates slightly every year
   -hard to get financed on
   -you cannot just tear down a wall, ad a room or remodel

   pros
   -can get a new well built place with no problems
   -you can find a piece a land wherever you want
   -you can go your house to a new piece of land if you ever want to

   Fixer Upper:
   cons
   -it is expensive to fix up things while paying a mortgage
   -the house you can afford may not be in an area you want to live in
   -property taxes are higher than a manuf. home

   pros
   -simple to remodel
   -usually appreciates every year

   To Dan R:
   I did not contradict myself anywhere. If you can read there are pros & cons about 1) a manufactured home and 2) a fixer upper house. This questions questions about the "ups and downs of both". You should learn to read a small more carefully. Besides, if you don’t have an answer for the question then you should not be posting a response.
