When will I get my earnest money because I didn’t get approved for my loan?

Written By: admin on August 9, 2009 One Comment

I place a check down for the earnest money for a house through hud. I gave it to my realtor and he processed it. Well its been over a week since I was not approved for my loan. I questioned my realtor for my money back and he said its has not came in yet. He told me first it would take two days for the money to be returned well now its been over a week. I’m just trying to figure out when I can get the cash I gave him back?

I got mine back with in a week! When I tried to get a loan 3 years ago. Normally the Sellers attorney takes the money at least that is how it work when bought my house and it was FHA also… Your realtor should be helping you get your money back. If you don’t get your money back i would get lawyer and make sure you have a copy of the real estate contract… EXCELLENT LUCK
